The cursor jumped across the screen in 0 milliseconds without crossing the space between (teleportation), or the mouse coordinates only landed on exact multiples of 5 pixels (grid snapping). Human hands dragging physical mice create messy, high-resolution data points; scripts calculate exact coordinates and teleport.

How this helps detect bots

This signal is assessed with other independent session, browser, and network evidence. A single anomaly is a lead, not a verdict; corroborating anomalies make automated traffic more likely.
